1. Overview

SafeConvert ("we", "us", "our") provides free online tools to convert, merge, and export documents — including PDF to Word, Word to PDF, merge PDFs, and PDF to JPG. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use these tools on safepdfconvert.com.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Files you upload

When you use one of our tools, you upload a file (PDF or Word) so we can process it. The uploaded file is stored temporarily on our server only for the time required to perform the conversion. We do not view, read, index, or analyse the contents of your files.

2.2 Contact form

If you use our contact form, we collect the email address you enter and the message you send us. We use this information only to reply to your message.

2.3 Reviews

If you choose to leave a review, we store your rating and, if you provide them, your comment, first name, and location. After moderation, that rating, comment, first name, and location appear publicly on our reviews page. We do not collect an email for reviews. A salted hash of your IP is kept only for anti-abuse rate limiting and is never displayed.

2.4 Technical data

Our servers automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, browser user-agent, and request timestamp. We use this only for abuse protection, basic rate limiting, and to keep the service available.

2.5 Cookies and analytics

We do not require cookies for core functionality. The site may load third-party scripts (such as Google AdSense) that use cookies to serve and measure ads. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

3. Automatic file deletion

Uploaded files and any output files generated during conversion are deleted from the server immediately after your download completes (or shortly after, if the download is interrupted). We do not retain copies, backups, or archives of your documents.

5. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your files or personal information. We do not share your documents with any third party.

We may use third-party infrastructure (for example, hosting, email delivery, the AI provider, and ad networks) which process limited data on our behalf. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

6. Security

File uploads and downloads happen over HTTPS, encrypting your file in transit. Files are stored in a temporary working directory during conversion and removed immediately afterwards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards.

7. Children's privacy

SafeConvert is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can remove it.

8. Your rights

Because we do not require an account and we delete uploaded files immediately after processing, there is normally no personal data on file to access, correct, or delete. If you have sent us a message via the contact form, you may request deletion of that message at any time by emailing us.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
