1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using SafeConvert ("the Service") at safepdfconvert.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

SafeConvert provides free, browser-based tools to convert, merge, compress, split, rotate, and export documents, including PDF ↔ Word conversion, PDF merging, PDF to JPG export, and more. We may add, change, or remove features at any time without notice.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload, convert, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harmful, or that you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to attack, disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service or our infrastructure.
• Bypass any limits, throttles, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, etc.) without prior written permission.
• Upload files that contain malware, viruses, or any code designed to harm a system or user.

We may suspend or block access from any user, IP, or network that we believe violates these terms.

4. Your content

You retain all rights to the files you upload. We do not claim ownership of your documents. You grant us a temporary, limited licence to receive, process, and return your files solely to perform the action you requested. Files are deleted from our servers immediately after processing as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to convert, merge, or export any file you upload.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any conversion will be perfect or suitable for a particular purpose. Always keep a copy of the original file.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeConvert, its operators, and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, profit, or goodwill arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed USD $50.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SafeConvert and its operators from any claim, loss, or expense arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, code, content, and branding (other than your uploaded files), is owned by SafeConvert and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service without our written permission.

9. Third-party services

The Service may include or link to third-party services (for example, ad networks). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any user at any time, with or without notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The "Last updated" date will reflect the latest revision.
